Simple Morning Habit Changed My Life…
Hi, I’m Susan — and I’m a single mom to an incredible daughter.
Not that long ago, I discovered something that helped me feel like myself again… the version of me I thought I was gone forever.

In my 20s and 30s, life felt easy.

I had energy all day long

I went to bed earlier… slept longer… even 9 or 10 hours some nights.
And still woke up tired.

I bought a scale I stepped on 209 pounds!
Wow, that moment hit me like a hammer.
Then I looked at myself in the mirror — really looked and felt a wave of fear. I wasn’t just tired or out of shape.
I was heading in the wrong direction.
And suddenly, it wasn’t just about me anymore.
I thought about my daughter, my future.
Whether I’d even have the health and energy to be there for her.
That’s when I knew I had to act. That night I made a decision.
I booked an appointment with my doctor, fully expecting a lecture about willpower, dieting, and exercise.
My Doctor's Visit Did Not Go As Expected...
I went to my doctor fully expecting the usual lecture:
- Eat less
- Exercise more
- Try harder
Instead, he told me something shocking:
“Most women after 40 aren’t gaining weight because they’re doing something wrong… they’re struggling because they’re targeting the wrong thing.”
He explained that once hormones and metabolism shift, traditional dieting and exercise stop working the way they used to.
Then he showed me something unexpected.
I was not ready for what came next...
He began to tell me about the simple morning habit, he called it the "Purple Peel Ritual" I never heard of, that had recently been re-discovered. And that there were three really amazing things about it and supported by real science.

Today, I’m 131 pounds.
Clothes I’d packed away years ago now fit again.

My energy is back.
I sleep deeply and wake up refreshed.
I have steady energy all day long.

I feel younger — lighter, happier, more alive I feel like I am 30 again.
I don't crave snacks any more. I can eat meals and feel satisfied.Â
In saying that, I do enjoy my favorite foods still.Â
My energy stays stable all day, I finally feel like me again.
Looking back, I’m so thankful I didn’t ignore this or stay skeptical.
Because today, I feel confident, hopeful, and excited about the future. Not just for me, but for my daughter and one day for my grandchildren with a smile on my face.
